TESTIMONIALS

Really enjoy the group lessons

I started taking piano lessons several years ago with different teachers, never continued on with it, and started to get frustrated.  I started lessons with Aeron in the group lesson for almost two years now and I think Aeron has probably been the best instructor I've had so far.  - Mary, Adult Student

I don't feel so pressured

I like being in the group because we learn from each other.  We can play at different speeds, we play a little differently but we learn a lot more by being in a group and it's more fun.  If I had to come by myself, I probably wouldn't.  - Mary, Adult Student

Piano isn't really that hard

Well I have to practice to get better at it.  Sometimes it is with some particular pieces though.  But otherwise it's pretty fun and kind of easy.  -Zaneta, Student

Music means everything to me.  It's that simple.  Literally means everything.  Can't imagine doing anything else.  I've tried other things and always ended up coming back to this so, this is it, as long as my fingers work, as long as I'm physically able to keep playing, composing, entertaining, it's what I'll do until the end.

Whenever I learn a song I get really excited

Sometimes it's a really hard song and it suddenly just seems easy and I suddenly don't look at the sheet music, I just look at the keys and then I get really excited and go tell my parents and friends.  -Holly, Student

Music has changed my life

Basically can't live without it.  I mean if I think on a world without music, it's pretty bland, it's pretty boring, there's no fun in it.  How it has changed my life in a way, it gives more excitement, it gives more drama, more meaning maybe somehow, it just kind of makes me feel more alive.  - Seth, Student

It's beautiful to listen to them

My husband and I believe so strongly that piano lessons would benefit our daughters in ways we never dreamed of, that we purchased a piano without ever having them lay their hands on a keyboard before - in good faith that it would be a wonderful investment and something that they would benefit from the rest of their lives and their talent has far exceeded our expectations.  - Mother of three piano students

For me when I play for other people I think that's the most rewarding for myself as a musician because I know the people who I play for appreciate it.

Becoming a Steinway Artist is a tremendous privilege

All of us who travel around the world playing concerts appreciate the privilege that we have of being a Steinway Artist.  Everyone knows that when you talk about the very, very best in pianos, there's only one name that comes up and that's Steinway.  -Steve, Steinway Artist

Chemistry is vital to developing the heart of a musician

There has to be chemistry.  There has to be chemistry between student and teacher.  And the chemistry between student and teacher builds a relationship that also needs to be a very lasting relationship, is a very, in a sense a very intimate relationship as one expresses emotion about the musical attachments to the pieces that they're playing. -Kevin, Father of Student

The image that comes to mind for Steinway Piano Gallery is it's like this Petri dish.  It's like this fertile breeding ground of ideas and opportunity and the things that grow out of this environment and the experiences that happen here and then where they go, there is no other place like it.  That's not just for me personally, but I've seen it with my students because the Steinway Piano Gallery provides a recital space of the highest quality, and just the vibe that you get here and the focus of creativity and quality - there's nothing like it in Milwaukee and it's available to everybody and that's really special.
